What is life coaching?
 Life coaching is a new and growing field designed to help individuals reach their God-given potential in all areas of life. At Professional Christian Life Coaching, we not only help you establish life goals--we also help you achieve them. All sessions are conducted over the phone. The life coach joins you in the growing process required to understand where you are in life, where you want to go, and how to get there.
You may be thinking, "Why do I need a life coach? I can do all of this by myself!" If that's what you're thinking, ask yourself these questions:
- Am I living life to the fullest right now?
- Do I know that I am in God's will for my life right now?
- Am I completely satisfied with my current job?
- Am I completely satisfied with my current salary?
- Have I reached all of my desired education goals?
- Are my family life and friendships where I want them to be?
- Am I aware of significant changes that need to be made in my life? If so, am I making them?

According to a recent study by the International Coach Federation (ICF), 28.5% of coaching clients said their investment in a coach was "valuable", and 70% said their investment was "very valuable". That's an incredible 98.5% of clients who felt their investment with a coach was well worth the money.
At Professional Christian Life Coaching, we strongly believe that the life coaching process is very powerful and has great potential for every client. We have seen the tremendous help and benefit it has brought to clients, and we enjoy helping people live life to the fullest. Ultimately the Holy Spirit is our true "life coach". Our role is to help you strengthen your relationship with Him so that you are living in alignment with God's will for your life. We specialize in helping people make important decisions regarding their career, business, education, and/or spiritual growth.

Why We Are Unique
 We are unique in the life coaching field, because we are both a business and a ministry. On the business level, we specialize in helping people make major decisions in their jobs and personal lives. Our normal fees apply for these services. On the ministry level, we offer spiritual coaching for free. (However, donations are accepted and much appreciated.)
For those who utilize our business services, aside from the benefits you will receive personally, you can feel good knowing that you are helping to provide free spiritual coaching for those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. A Letter from James:
Hi. Welcome to our site! My name is James Christian, and I am the founder of Professional Christian Life Coaching (PCLC). I'd like to briefly tell you just a little bit about myself and PCLC.
The process it took to become a life coach has taught me many lessons, and the most important lesson is that God is our true "life coach". He is the only one who can bring complete clarity to our life, purpose, and being. Human (Christian) life coaches are merely vessels through which God can work. Of course, I strongly believe in the value of the life coaching process (I even have my own life coach), but vision, purpose, and goals have no meaning apart from God.
Six years ago, I was a drummer in the Marine Corps band at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Though I gained many valuable experiences from the Marine Corps, I sensed that this was not the career path God intended for me to take the rest of my life. Looking at various job possibilities, I considered numerous careers, but none of them ever seemed quite right. I looked into many different jobs I thought would fit my ideal criteria, but there was still a general emptiness about them.
Finally, I ceased my own striving, and I prayed, "God, what do You want me to do with my life?" This was the question for which God had been patiently waiting. Within one week, through various circumstances, the answer was clear: He wanted me to go into a mental health profession. At the time, I understood this to mean counseling. Therefore, I found a good (and affordable) Christian college where I could study to become a counselor.
Strangely, the whole time I was studying counseling, something still didn't seem quite right. I had the assurance from God that I was in the right place, but many things were still uncertain. The last semester of college, I took a class on life coaching. I really had no desire to take it, but it was the only elective that fit within my schedule.
Well, God has a sense of humor. I took to life coaching like a duck to water. Through much prayer and conversation with my wife, I knew this was the profession for me. I finished my schooling, and I earned my degree in Christian counseling. I have counseled a few people, mostly regarding marriage issues, but the area where I really thrive is life coaching.
Some people wonder what the difference is between counseling and life coaching. I like to describe it this way: Counseling is like going to the doctor--something is "broken" in your life, and you waht to get it fixed. Life coaching, however, is like preventative health--rather than waiting for something to go wrong, you take proactive steps to foster and maintain a healthy, meaningful life. It's very rewarding for both the client and the coach.
I love what I do, and it's a pleasure to serve my clients. I have a strong passion to see unity within the church, and I gain great joy in helping each individual Christian. As each member of the Body of Christ is built up, each member becomes more connected to the Head, and that strengthens the entire church. It's a great thrill to help individuals grow in their relationship with the Lord, their career, their marriage, their education, their friendships, and so many other areas. Strong and healthy individuals bring forth strong families, strong businesses, strong relationships, and a strong church.
Plans are underway to expand Professional Christian Life Coaching (PCLC) in the near future. Right now it's just me and my secretary. However, within the next year or so, we hope to expand PCLC's services by hiring more coaches and serving more people.
